Our high voltage capacitors are internally placed with discharge resistor, and each capacitor bank is internally equipped with protection fuses of special design to withstand the rated over-voltage and over-current, transient current, short-circuit current and transient over-voltage and over-current, thereby extending the life of the capacitor.
The high-voltage shunt capacitor is mainly used to compensate for the reactive power of power system, improve the load power factor, and reduce the reactive power transmission of lines, improve the transmission capacity of the power grid, reduce the power consumption, minimize the energy loss and improve the voltage quality and increase the equipment utilization.

Caution

? Capacitor unit should be in an upright position when moving, i.e. casing upward. The capacitor may not be moved by lifting the casing.
? The capacitor shall be installed with nameplate facing the cabinet panel to facilitate observation.
? The coupling wire for high voltage capacitor should be soft conductor (soft solder wire, braided wire), and reserved with certain length to prevent thermal expansion and contraction, the capacitor should be crimped securely and reliably.
? For installation and arrangement inside cabinet, the spacing between single capacitors ≥100mm, in order to facilitate heat dissipation and subsequent maintenance of the components.
? The capacitor enclosure should be grounded together with the cabinet.
? The capacitor chamber or reactor chamber should be well vented to reduce overheating damage to the capacitor or reactor caused by poor ventilation.
? The outage capacitor line terminal (including neutral point) must be discharged before exposure to avoid electric shock accident caused by the residual charge.
